The winner has been chosen!

Congratulations McKenna Prather!

On being selected for the exceptional opportunity to exhibit your artwork in the 2023 Stampede Rotary Dream Home.
Since the Dream Home Artist Project’s inception, we’ve had a number of recurring submissions. Of all the submissions received this year, McKenna’s subject matter and artistic style, combining acrylic paints and hand-stitched embroidery threads best fit the style of this year’s Dream Home.
The Inspiration Behind the Paintings
“My family’s support for my artwork extends beyond emotional encouragement, such as my Dad helping me build frames for my artwork. And during our family movie nights, I sit on the couch with my big 4′ x 4′ canvas in front of me, while the rest of my family eats popcorn. For me, creating art is not just a job, but a lifestyle, that my family happily embraces.”

This Year’s StyleModern Heritage

The 2023 Dream Home’s exterior pays tribute to the Rangeview’s greenhouse, located in the heart of the community, through colours, textures and a 3-season room. Inside, traditional elements are blended with garden-inspired green hues, natural wood interior elements, gold lighting, white and beige furnishings, accents, and greenery, creating a seamless blend of modern and heritage design.
